Printmaking Daytime Class Mondays 2pm - 4pm

The course is a rolling programme on a Monday afternoon 2 and 4pm and will cost £10 per week plus materials. Contact Lynn on 07970520846.

Printmaking Evening Class Mondays 7pm - 9.15pm

Ceramics Evening Class Mondays 7-9pm.

Ceramics at The Old Press is taught by our artist in residence Georgina Bignell-David. She has a fun and relaxed approach to teaching and her students have been creating bespoke jugs, beer mugs and vases. Georgina teaches coil pots and pinch pots, press moulding, slab building and glazing.

Learn with the Masters Daytime Class Wed 12.15 - 2.30pm

The course is a rolling programme on a three weekly basis and will cost £10 per week including all materials. You will need to buy yourself a small sketchbook. The classes look at individual artists such as Dali, Kahlo, Klimt and help you to understand their influences, thought processes and style of work. Each artist is the inspiration for a project developed by you under the guidance of the tutor and by the end of the third week you will have created a masterpiece inspired by a great artist. Book Illustration Classes Thursdays 7-9pm

Remember those fantastic drawings in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and The Brothers Grimm? Want to recreate that atmosphere? Here is an opportunity for aspiring illustrators to build expertise and technique as they learn to create excellent illustrations.The course is on a rolling programme where you will learn new techniques each week as you create your own illustrations, every Thursday 7-9pm.
